The Photographer Behind The Lens
Telling stories, evoking emotion, and preserving what lasts, one session at a time.
Where This Started
I grew up on the back roads of Iowa, where wide open land and quiet light taught me to notice things most people walk past. That's where this started, long before I ever called myself a photographer.
For me, a portrait was never just about capturing what someone looks like. It's about telling a story, evoking an emotion, and preserving something that lasts long after the session ends. My work today spans portraits, nature photography, and urban imagery, but the throughline is always the same, whether it's a family in a park or a single client in the studio.
Two Kinds Of Confidence
Different clients come to me for different reasons. Here are the two experiences I'm asked about most.
Boudoir & Bodyscape
Some clients come to me ready to see themselves the way everyone else already does: confident, strong, beautiful in ways they've stopped noticing. This work is built around trust, privacy, and a pace that never rushes anyone past their comfort.

Other clients come in having built something they're proud of: a business, a reputation, a life lived on their own terms, and they want a portrait that finally looks like the man in the mirror on his best day.
